CHIVAY is a beautiful rural town, in the province of Caylloma – Arequipa, located at an altitude of 3,600 meters above sea level. It houses the Calera and Checapi hot springs complex, which has pools fed by the torrent of 80°C water that comes from the Cotallumi volcano, which are then tempered for visitor use to 38°C.
