This service begins with the reception and welcome at the bus terminal in Puno or Juliaca Airport and allows you to get to know Lake Titicaca and Uros, Amantani and Taquile islands with the advantage of staying 01 night in a family house on Amantani Island, and appreciate closely the customs and traditions of the natives that inhabit these islands. It also allows you to visit the great archaeological complex of Sillustani located on the banks of the Umayo Lagoon, where the immense constructions with forms of circular towers built by Qollas stand out. At the end of the program we provide transportation to Juliaca airport or bus terminal in Puno.

ITINERARY:

Day 01: Reception in Puno or Airport of Juliaca.

This service begins with the reception or pick up from airport of Juliaca or bus terminal in Puno and transfer to selected (Hotel in Puno by your self).

Day 02: Tour Titicaca Uros floating islands and Amantani (O’N in family house).

After breakfast at 8:00 a.m. pick up from Hotel and transfer to the port of Puno where we board our motor boat to start the trip on lake Titicaca and visit the Uros floating islands (30min trip). Arrival to the islands and meeting with the natives who share their ancestral experiences with us. (Optional) chance to ride on the reed rafts that cross the crystalline waters of Titicaca. Afterwards we continue our trip to Amantani Island (2hrs and 40 min).

When we arrive to Amantani Island we are welcomed by the families that wait for us and offer us accommodation in their houses and prepare lunch. Later, we hike around the island to visit the PACHATATA (ceremonial temple) viewpoint and observe the daily life of these natives. At night, after dinner we have a chance to participate in the party with native musicians.

Day 03: Tour Taquile Island and return to Puno.

After breakfast, we continue our trip to Taquile Island (1hra of trip). Upon arrival we begin the walk along the stone paths, ascending to the village where we meet the natives and appreciate their weaving skills. These happy settlers, proud of their culture and their origin, invite us to appreciate the beauty of the landscape on the immensity of Titicaca.

Then we have lunch at family restaurant of the place. Afterwards we continue the visit and we arrive at the pier located on the West side of the Island where we board our motor boat back to Puno. 4:00 pm: arrival at the main port of Puno and transfer to (Hotel by your self).

Day 04: Tour Sillustani and Transfer to Juliaca airport or Bus terminal in Puno.

2:00 p.m. pick up from Hotel and bus trip to chullpas of Sillustani (50 min). arriving to the site,we start a slow walking tour to find and take photos of this huge funerary Towers built by Qollas in the pre-Inca and Inca periods.

At the top we find a wonderful landscape of the Umayo lagoon that offers us a unique and special landscape of the Andes. After the visit we board our return transport to Puno (arrival at 5:45pm) or transfer to Juliaca airport or bus terminal in Puno
