This itinerary begins with a welcome at the bus terminal in Puno or the airport in Juliaca. It offers the opportunity to explore Lake Titicaca and the islands of Uros, Amantani, and Taquile, including the unique experience of spending one night with a local family on Amantani Island and gaining firsthand insight into the customs and traditions of the native inhabitants—descendants of ancient civilizations. You will also visit the magnificent Sillustani archaeological complex, situated on the shores of Lake Umayo, which is renowned for the massive, circular tower-like structures built by the Qolla people. At the end of the program, you will be transported to the Juliaca airport or the bus terminal in Puno.

ITINERARY:

Day 01: Reception in Puno or Juliaca Airport.

Reception upon arrival at the bus terminal in Puno or the airport in Juliaca, and transfer to the hotel in Puno (hotel).

Day 02: Lake Titicaca Tour – Uros Floating Islands and Amantani Island (overnight stay).

8:00 AM: Pick-up from your hotel and transfer to the port of Puno, where we board a motorboat to begin the journey to the Uros floating islands (a 30-minute trip). Upon arrival, we meet the local people, who share their ancestral way of life with us. (Optional) There is an opportunity to take a ride on the *totora* reed boats that ply the crystal-clear waters of Lake Titicaca. We bid farewell to the Uros and continue our journey to Amantani Island (a 2-hour and 40-minute trip).

Upon arrival at Amantani Island, we meet the host families who welcome us into their cozy homes and prepare a traditional lunch. Later, we take a walk across the island to visit the Pachatata viewpoint (a ceremonial temple) and observe the locals’ daily way of life. In the evening, after dinner, we join a local celebration organized by the residents themselves.

Day 03: Tour Taquile island and return to Puno.

We continue our journey to Taquile Island (1-hour trip). We disembark to begin our hike along the stone paths, ascending to the village where we find the natives dedicated to the art of weaving. These cheerful and proud inhabitants, proud of their culture and heritage, invite us to appreciate the beauty of the landscape overlooking the vastness of Lake Titicaca.

Afterward, we have lunch at a local family-run restaurant.

Continuing our visit, we arrive at the dock located on the west side of the island where we board our motorboat back to Puno. 4:00 pm: Arrival at the main port of Puno and transfer to the hotel.

Day 04: Tour Sillustani  and transfer to Juliaca airport or Bus terminal in Puno.

At 2:00 PM, we pick you up from your hotel for the bus trip to the Sillustani *chullpas* (a 50-minute journey). Upon arrival, we begin a leisurely walking tour to view the massive funerary towers built by the Qolla people during the pre-Inca and Inca periods.

At the summit, we enjoy a magnificent view of Lake Umayo, offering a unique and special Andean landscape. Afterward, we board our transport back to Puno (arriving at 5:45 PM) and proceed to the Juliaca airport or the bus terminal in Puno.
